Blower motor wont blow any air Chevy Colorado

I have a 05 Chevy Colorado and the blower was only blowing out on setting 1 & 2 sometimes 3. Now it has quit all together. If i replace the resistor and harness will this take care of it or is it something else? Thanks!

  1. Normally when the blower is only going in max speed etc, the fuse in the resistor is broken.

The fuse in the resistor does often get damaged because the blower is going sluggish and damaging the resistor fuse.

A blower motor that is damaged can also damage the main fuse to the blower also.

Normally what happens if you fit a new resistor if the blower is going sluggish, is that you will blow the resistor fuse again.
