Temp gauge rising Ford F-150 2011

Asked by: 20 views Coolant Question

My 2011, Ford F-150 eco boost has been running hot for the past couple weeks. It has an aftermarket bumper which I cut a large hole in front to allow air for the intercooler and it didn’t seem to help. I notice the temp gauge rising when going uphill mainly. The water pump and thermostat have been replaced. Not sure where to go now

    Hello

Have you checked that the coolant fan is working properly?
Any DTC codes? If you have late ignition the temperature can rise.

Got all air out of the coolant system?
