Dodge nitro heat fault

My 08 dodge nitro\’s heat stopped blowing hot. We had the heater core replaced for $500 and it worked fine for about a week. Then it started overheating and the thermostat was not moving from C so we replaced the thermostat and the coolant and the thermostat seems to work fine now. Heat is still cold and will randomly blow hot when driving above 55. Any help would be appreciated!

    Hello Kate!

Sounds like you still have air in the system.

Raise the front of the car or stand at a uphill, Put max heat inside the car, remove any air screws and radiator cap.

Rev it up for a minute and see if you have to fill more coolant!
