Oil in my air intake Pontiac grand am

The car, an 04 Pontiac Grand am with the lil 2.2.dohc, is idiling strange, and I i found oil in my air intake hose, I think it came in from the vacuum hose that runs from the top of my block into my airbox

    The oil is probably coming from the crankcase ventilation hose between the valve cover and the air intake box as you said. A little bit of oil is normal, as long as the car doesn’t drink too much oil and gets blue smoke (oil burned)

    I think, in this case, the best way is to read the DTC memory and check all vacuum hoses for any air leaks 🙂
